Music...

So this post is about music...its one of the only things i can really talk about for hours at a time. At the moment-i am listening to Yael Naim's song 'New Soul'.
Its a pretty amazing song. Im usually not into the type of music she sings...though..i do not know what music that would be-however it's a cool song. It's got a very happy sound.
You should listen to it if you haven't heard it yet. She has the prettiest accent as well. And im a sucker for accents.

Today i checked the billboards and i found the top ten songs for this week...

1.Katy Perry- I Kissed A Girl
2.Lil Wayne Featuring Static Major- Lollipop
3.Leona Lewis- Bleeding Love
4.Rihanna- Take A Bow
5.Jonas Brothers- Burnin' Up
6.Coldplay- Viva La Vida
7.Plies Featuring Ne-Yo- Bust It Baby Part 2
8.Chris Brown- Forever
9.Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas- This Is Me
10.Natasha Bedingfield- Pocketful Of Sunshine
Well...i dont know what to say about some of these songs...

#1 has a pretty good beat...but some of the lyrics are-questionable.
Two...in my opinion is just a stupid song, i mean-seriously the
words are discusting.
Number three was a pretty good song...but after hearing it seven
times in an hour of one radio station i would think some people would be
tired of it by now.
I like some of Rihanna's music, she's a talented girl, but again...radio
stations have played 'Take A Bow' too many times for my liking.
The Jonas Brothers...love them to death. Seriously. But part of my
passion might be because they are just so darn good looking...but they
do have very good voices...not like some disney stars. Im not saying any names.
My favorite song by them is probably 'Play My Music'.
Now Coldplay...that is some good music. Viva la Vida is my favorite
song off of their new album. If you havent heard Coldplay-you have
most likely been living under a rock for the past i dont know, ten years?
So numero seven...no idea what that song is...and i doubt i want to.
Eight...Chris Brown isnt that bad. Some of his songs are-eh.
However-I dont like that song...its...odd.
Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas duet...its so cute! I am one
of the girls who turned on the television to watch
Disney Channel's first showing of Camp Rock. Both of the kids
have real good voices...so it made the song worth listening to.
Number ten- Pocketful Of Sunshine- This song
is one of the most annoying and catchy songs ever.
I really dislike the song with a strong passion, and yet-
after i heard it, i could not get it out of my head.

Thanks for reading my first real post...
hope you got a few laughs.

Viva la vida is the best song I've heard in a while! I would highly recommend a band called Anberlin. They are my favorite band and their lead singer has a blog!

I don't listen to any of the songs in the Top 10, except for Coldplay. I liked hearing someone else's opinion on them.

My opinion: I hate the Jonas Brothers. Sorry, but I do, they're just not my thing. With Bleeding Love...well, I don't know how I would respond to that if everyone at school didn't sing it all the time. But doesn't it get stuck in your head EVERY TIME YOU HEAR IT? It does for me.

I find it commendable that your first post is about music-- something I could talk about for hours also.

Nice.
