Fear

My Greatest Fear
1. That I will never fall in love.

I've been trying to think of more than that...so I could
put it plural (My Greatest Fears) But I can't really.
Obviously I'm scared of loosing my family and everything...
but I know that I will see them in heaven. But if I don't
have true love on earth...well you get the point.
It seriously terrifies me.
Everyone always tells me-
"You'll find someone!"
"You are only in high school!"
"Don't even worry about it!"
Oh yeah?? Well I do.
And yes...those are very very possible.
But what if they aren't true.
There are people out there.

Yes there are peple out there who do never fall in love, but you never know if they even really wanted true love. Maybe they were a more independent person and enjoys being single. kp believe me you will fall in love but theres no need worring about that now. you have your whole life to fall in love. Whatever god has planned for you is the best for you so just have fun and enjoy life and let things fall into place!!!

You will fall in love. Deeply. Head over heels. But to get there- you must first move through and beyond what seems like, feels like, love. I honestly believe that when you're younger infatuation (that swirly, exciting, heart-palpitating feeling you get when you're around a certain someone) pretends to be love. It's not until you get a bit older and wiser that the true nature of love becomes clear. To paraphrase a very important writing on love:

"If I am accomplished, smart and well-respected, but have no love, I am an empty shell. If I have the gift of wisdom and insight and a fancy college degree, and have faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. Where there is wisdom- it will end. Where there is fun and parties- they will cease. Where there are friends of youth- they will pass away into time.

After all the temporary things of life pass away these three remain: Faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

You will find your love. Trust me. Rest easy. Be patient :)

I like to believe that we, all of us, occupy a certain place in the realm of love.

Only when someone steps in to share that place, do we feel mutual love. Or maybe when we step into anothers'.

But I believe love is always around us, in us.

One day.
